Muslims and others of different religions unanimously agree that Allah to whom be ascribed all glory and perfection has created Adam from materials originally existed in the earth. 
Then, the process of creation of this human specimen has been continued as an extension of the father of mankind Adam by means of human menses which enfold all human characteristics to transfer all human merits from fathers to sons in the long run to preserve the human kind from collapse and perish first and retaining human traits from generation to generation secondly.
The menses passes through several stages of growth in the mother's womb which are intricately marvelous till the fetus takes its normal and perfect human shape. The holy Quran has pictured those stages strictly till the modern scientific discoveries have managed to reach them lately after the Quran preceded them several centuries ago about that.
Then, the fetus transfers to the world in which we live to pass through other phases ranging between innocent childhood and glowing youth and confused so that then the course of old age will end to resort to his grave as long as Allah wills until Allah gets him back to life after his staying dead in his grave to live his eternal life – either immortal in Hell or in Heaven.
